A trip through Venezuela... with virtual reality glasses

The work was filmed over a period of six months in which the director traveled through jungles, mountains, rivers, cities and popular neighborhoods, from the imposing Angel Falls to Petare, in Caracas.

To create this work, the filmmaker started from a very clear premise: "I don't like that what others tell me becomes my way of thinking. That's why I went to see it with my own eyes. With that conviction, he embarked on a trip to Venezuela that turned into six months of deep exploration through jungles, mountains, rivers, cities and working-class neighborhoods.

The result is Mano Tengo Fe, a 35-minute immersive piece that dismantles stereotypes, connects with Venezuelan identity and portrays the resilience and warmth of its people. Intimate, honest and deeply moving, the documentary has moved Venezuelans around the world. Those who have experienced it recognize familiar sights, sounds and gestures, and experience a powerful connection to their homeland, even thousands of miles away.

More than 10,000 people have already seen the documentary, which continues to arouse emotions wherever it is shown.

A testimony that moves the diaspora

In the cities where it has already been shown, such as Miami, Gainesville and Austin, the documentary has generated a strong connection with the Venezuelan community. Many attendees recognize the places shown and relive personal memories. The experience of seeing their country with this closeness has provoked tears, laughter and a strong emotional charge in those who have emigrated.

The format allows the viewer to experience the story in first person: they sit down, put on the glasses and headphones, and are transported directly to the landscapes and realities of Venezuela that Noa captured with his 360-degree camera.
