Sweet Space Open Call 2026: We're looking for emerging talent to transform our next immersive room
Are you an artist, illustrator, designer, or art student who dreams of seeing your work exhibited in a major museum? We’re officially launching our first Annual Call for Entries / Sweet Space Open Call 2026, an initiative created to connect classrooms and creative studios directly with the cultural industry.
We’re looking for disruptive proposals that will transform one of our main galleries through color, play, interactivity, and imagination. This is your chance to take the next step in your career at a leading immersive art space in Madrid that welcomes more than 100,000 visitors a year.

Who is the emerging artists call for submissions aimed at?
We want to open our doors to young talent and provide a real platform for new creative perspectives. The Sweet Space Open Call 2026 is open to:
Visual artists, illustrators, muralists, and set designers.
Experience designers and digital creators.
Undergraduate or graduate students in art, design, architecture, and creativity.
Artistic groups (in teams of up to 3 members) or individual participants.
💡 Full technical support: To help you design your project with complete precision, the museum will provide all registered participants with floor plans, 3D renderings, measurements, and detailed photographs of the room to be renovated.
Awards and Funding: €5,000 to make your project a reality
We view art as a professional endeavor that deserves substantial resources. The selected proposal will receive a comprehensive package of financial, technical, and media support:
Production budget: Up to €5,000 for the complete construction and installation of the room (materials, logistics, and assembly).
Recognition and Resource: Presentation of a state-of-the-art iPad to support the development and promotion of the play.
Platform and Outreach: Sweet Space’s official communications campaign in mass media, social media, and the national press.
Permanent visibility: Prominent recognition of the artist’s work within the museum gallery, seen by thousands of visitors every day.
How do you apply for the 2026 Open Call?
Registration is conducted exclusively online through the contest's official platform.
