Álvaro Linares
"A representation of real events from the perspective that we all coexist in a simulation."
Álvaro Linares Cuadrado, street artist and student at IE, is positioned as one of the promising young talents in the world of both digital and physical art at only 20 years old. He began painting at an early age, focusing his artistic spirit on painting. It was his mother who, after recognizing his vocation and talent, decided to take him to art classes where he could explore different types of painting and where Álvaro found a new way to express and channel his experiences.
Álvaro's artistic career never followed a conventional style. Shortly after starting art classes, he began experimenting at home with spray paint and discovered his passion for street art. Later, Álvaro began exploring other artistic disciplines such as cooking, fashion, music, and above all, cinema.
In 2020, Álvaro began his own artistic journey, developing his particular style in Street Art that characterizes him and for which he is recognized today in his works and projects. Since May 2020, Álvaro has been experiencing exponential growth in street art. Among many other projects in development, those that mark his position as an emerging artist include his participation in the María Cristina Masaveu Peterson Foundation's Street Art Space alongside artists such as Banksy and Keith Harring, his collaboration with Pedro Peña Interior Design in Marbella, and his recent project with Cokrea's Artist Series, an international art sales portal.
